Let the Children Come

Jesus said, “Let the children come.” So, we say the same. Our parish is blessed to have a special place, particularly for these littlest children, to come to know Jesus and God’s Family.

 

A bi-weekly Parish Religious Education Program (P.R.E.P.) designed for Preschool and Kindergarten children. The goals of the program are to introduce God to the children through people in the Bible and to encourage parents to share Bible stories with their children at home. We will sing songs, read stories, role play, learn prayers and make a craft.

 

Children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2018 through Kindergarten age are eligible to enroll. Please register online by the 5th of August to guarantee the rate of $15; registrations after August 5, 2018 will incur a $10 late fee.  Please submit tuition payments of $15 unless paying the family rate of either $55 (only one additional child in PREP) OR $70 (2 or more children enrolled in PREP) – made payable to St. Francis de Sales - on or before the first class.  Tuition is waived for teachers and teacher helpers.  If you are unable to pay tuition at this time, please contact the office and payment arrangements can be made.

 

 

Classes are held during the 10:30 AM Mass in the classroom on the lower level of the church.  We aim to finish by the end of Mass.  Upon the start of every academic year, we implement the Children and Adolescents Protection Program (CAPP).  Please understand that all students participate in this phase of Protecting God’s Children unless otherwise indicated on the registration form.  If your child should be absent on this date, a make-up session will be available.  The children will benefit most if they attend class regularly.
