My Dear Parishioners,

As we continue through this time of anxiety and uncertainty caused by COVID-19, let us remain connected through our prayers for one another as well as through the many means of communications that are literally at our fingertips.

Saint Francis de Sales continues its commitment to 'Live Jesus', to provide care to all its families who are in need, and so we ask that you do not hesitate to contact us if you know of any parishioner who needs help.  We have had a number of fellow parishioners contact us to let us know that they willing able to help (e.i. going out  to obtain necessary supplies for the home or trips to the pharmacy).  We are grateful for such generosity!

We are now able to live-stream our weekend Mass (as well as recording for later viewing)! A grateful shout out to Kevin and Alison Snyder and to their son Alex. The generosity of their time, talent and spirit have made this amazing opportunity of being able to reach out to our parishioners possible.  The actual live-streaming will take place at our normal time for Saturday Mass @5pm.  This allows for plenty of time to upload onto our website for early viewing on Sunday.

Grateful appreciation to those who also gave generously of their time and talent to make our Holy Week Liturgies a source of joy, hope and connection.  Thanks to our lectors Jerry Broskey, Scott Giacobbe and Monica Echeverri.  Also to Mary McCormmick-Archutowski , Deb Fullam and Angela Wright for their music and song, which brought out the glory and joy of this blessed time of Easter.

My own personal Thanks to those who remembered me this Easter through their phone calls, emails, cards and gifts (and even a few chocolate covered peanut butter eggs - God is so GREAT!)

Also, at this times, the parish now has the opportunity for on-line/electronic giving.  Simply click on the green DONATE button at the top of this page to have your FULL offertory amount deposited into our church account.  This form of stewardship will help our parish maintain and carry on with the day to day work.  You may continue either dropping off your envelopes at the church office during the hours of 9:00 am - 7:00 pm when the church is open or send them in the mail.  This would be greatly appreciated!

Please know that I keep you and all your loved ones in my daily private Masses and in my prayers during adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.

Saint Francis de Sales, pray for us!  Mary, Health of the Sick and Comforter of the Afflicted, pray for us!

A Prayer for Protection in a Time of Pandemic

O Mary,

you always brighten our path as a sign of salvation and of hope.  We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who, at the Cross, took part in Jesus' pain while remaining steadfast in faith.

O loving Mother,

you know what we need, and we are confident you will provide for us as at Cana in Galilee.  Intercede for us with your son Jesus, the Divine Physician, for those who have fallen ill, for those who are vulnerable, and for those who have died.  Intercede also for those charged with protecting the health and safety of others and for those who are tending to the sick and seeking a cure.

Help us, O Mother of Divine Love,

to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who took upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows, so as to lead us, through the Cross, to the Glory of the Resurrection.

   Amen.

Under thy protection we seek refuge,

O Holy Mother of God.

In our needs, despise not our petitions, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin.  Amen.
